What is XLPE Cable?
XLPE cable stands for cross linked polyethylene cable. It is a hydronic tubing manufactured from polyethylene plastic. XLPE features a 3D molecular bond structure and shape memory characteristics.

What is cross-linked polyethylene/XLPE?
Cross-linked polyethylene, also known as XLPE, is a form of insulation produced by heat and high pressure. One method of manufacturing XLPE insulation is to irradiate the compound. Another method is to use a peroxide chemical cross-linking compound. the most important property of XLPE is the electrical properties it exhibits. Cables with XLPE insulation are capable of carrying high currents and voltages. a common application for XLPE is medium to high voltage applications. the physical and electrical properties of XLPE make it ideal for use in industrial environments.
Application
