XLPE Insulated Cable Application

 

XLPE insulated power cables are suitable for power transmission and distribution systems with a rated voltage up to 15kV. For fixed installation in the open air, it is buried directly in the cable trough. Steel tape armored (STA) cables can withstand mechanical forces but cannot withstand large tensile forces. Steel armored (SWA) cables can withstand mechanical forces and tensile forces.
