Welding cable

The welding cable is a flexible, durable cable that can supply power to the secondary circuit of the electric welding machine, which controls the electrode to release the electric charge required for the welding process. Also known as electrode cables, they are usually used in manufacturing environments to power resistance welding and arc welding equipment, or to replace or repair damaged cables. It has a single fine-stranded conductor wrapped in a non-conductive rubber jacket, which has heat resistance, burn resistance, spark resistance and abrasion resistance. The thinner stranded copper wire provides greater flexibility for welding cables than other types of wires, and the insulating sheath is designed to withstand repeated movements on rough surfaces.

Application

Welding cables can be used as entertainment or stage lighting cables for cinemas, lighting and sound systems, and communication vehicles. Other possible uses for welding cables include car battery cables, inverter cables, and as inexpensive alternatives to crane and crane pendant/reel cables. For example, many solar power generation equipment widely use welding cables to connect solar panels, battery packs and converters.
