Technical data


Maximum conductor temperature: under normal (90℃), emergency (130℃) or short-circuit conditions not exceeding 5 s (250℃).


Minimum ambient temperature: If the ambient temperature is lower than 0℃, the cable should be preheated


Minimum bending radius: 20 (d + D) ± 5%


1. Conductor:


1.1 Compact circular conductor, composed of several layers of concentric spiral windings.


1.2 Segmented conductors. The conductors consist of multiple segmented conductors assembled together to form a cylindrical core.


2. The semiconductor shielding layer on the conductor:


In order to prevent electric field concentration, there is an ultra-smooth semiconductor XLPE interface between the conductor and the insulating layer.


3. XLPE insulation:


When working under high voltage, the insulating layer insulates the shielding layer from the shielding layer operating at ground potential. The insulating material must be able to withstand the electric field under rated and transient operating conditions.


4. Semiconductor shielding layer on the insulating layer:


This layer has the same function as the conductor shield: it gradually transitions from an insulating medium with a non-zero electric field to a conductive medium with a zero electric field (here, the metal cable shield).

Feature of product

XLPE power cable insulation is made of XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) rated at 90 o C.

Conductor: flat round, compacted stranded aluminum wire or high-purity copper in accordance with IEC 60228 level 2.

Outer sheath: PVC or LSOH-low smoke and halogen free

Rated voltage: medium and low voltage

Executive standard: manufactured according to GB/T12706-2002 standard (same as IEC60502).

Armor: galvanized steel wire or steel tape.
