0.6/1KV cable 4cx300 sq. mm xlpe cable
Structure:
XLPE insulated power cable is made of ordinary annealed stranded copper. The multi-core wires are placed together and protected with an XLPE inner sheath, the steel wire sheathed with steel wire armor is sheathed with steel wire armor, and finally the outer layer of PVC sheath is protected.
Feature:
Provide excellent mechanical, electrical, thermal and chemical properties
Can
Withstand higher rated current, a smaller size cable can be used compared with PVC. With excellent emergency overload tolerance, the overload temperature is as high as 1300C
The ability to resist deformation under load
Maintain flexibility at temperatures as low as 400C
With higher short-circuit rating, it can withstand short-circuit temperatures up to 2500C
Excellent resistance to most chemicals (such as acids, alkalis and oils),
Dielectric loss
Very low, easy to connect and terminate,
Easy to process these cables are light in weight and easy to install

Application:
Power cables are used for electrical transmission in industrial equipment, panel wiring, control systems and communication panel systems. They are impermeable to water, oil and gas, and have a longer functional life, so they have the functions of anti-wear, anti-vibration and anti-aging. These wires are flame retardant and do not support burning. The wire has non-hygroscopic insulation, is not affected by the migration of moisture and compounds, and can be installed vertically.
The difference between XLPE cable and PVC cable
The main difference:
1. The maximum operating temperature of the conductor: XLPE cable has a higher rated current and longer service life than PVC cable. PVC insulated cable is 70 degrees Celsius, while XLPE is 90 degrees Celsius.
2. The highest short-circuit (duration less than 5 seconds) temperature: under short-circuit conditions, the PVC insulated cable is 160 degrees Celsius, and the cross-linked polyethylene is 250 degrees Celsius.
3. Compared with PVC, its moisture resistance is 100 times higher.
4. Service life: Generally, XLPE insulated cables are longer than PVC insulated cables.
5. Price: Generally, the price of XLPE insulated cables is higher than that of PVC insulated cables.
6. Waterproof performance in the application environment: PVC insulated cables are better than XLPE insulated cables.
7. Environmental protection: Since XLPE does not contain chlorine and will release toxic gas after burning, XLPE insulated cables are more environmentally friendly than PVC insulated cables.
The main difference between the two is that XLPE can be used for high tension and low tension applications. Its structure has good wear resistance, stress resistance and other wear resistance. PVC insulation cannot withstand that much pressure, which means it is only suitable for low-tension applications.
